IN2Racing seeks pro racer for 2010 Porsche Carrera Cup GB
IN2Racing is looking for a pro racer to run alongside Paul Hogarth in the 2010 Porsche Carrera Cup GB, as the Stratford-on-Avon team expands its presence in the championship.
Team boss Nick Dudfield is keen to sign a potential race winner as the team grows to running two or three cars. "We want to become established as one of the leading teams in the Carrera Cup and this is a platform for 2011 and beyond," said Dudfield. "We are committed to the Carrera Cup for the long term."
Hogarth has already confirmed his return to the championship in 2010 after a superb season in 2009. He battled for the pro-am2 title right until the final race of the year and won the category three times on his way to the runner-up position.
Dudfield is building an experienced team of race engineers for the team and wants to raise the team's profile. "This is a team built around customer satisfaction and we are keen to talk to drivers about 2010 and beyond. We're putting the right personnel in place to benefit all of our drivers."
In the late 1980s Dudfield was a successful kart racer and competed against drivers like Dario Franchitti and Guy Smith. He then raced in Formula Vauxhall Junior and later won the 2003 Radical SR3 title with IN2Racing. More recently, the team has campaigned Porsches in the Carrera Cup and a Porsche 911GT3RSR in the Le Mans Series and at Sebring.
The team operates from a 5000sq ft purpose built facility near Stratford-on-Avon and Dudfield can be contacted on 07768 548774.[i]
